This movement celebrates the vibrant diversity and collective strength of the Black community – fostering unity, empowerment and a profound sense of shared joy. It’s time that we describe ourselves by who we are and specifically, our joy. Black Joy is triumphant. It is bright and it is a critical component of the sustainability of us and our culture.

Indy’s most anticipated summer event — celebrating Black joy in all its forms and bringing together people from across the city. Whether you’re a first-timer or a longtime supporter, this experience is for you.

Join us on Saturday, July 11th, 2026, for a vibrant day of live music, DJs, and dynamic performances; interactive art and immersive experiences; local Black-owned vendors and food trucks; family-friendly programming; wellness spaces; community conversations; and so much more. Admission is free and open to all.
